Viviti Blog

What are you excited to do with Viviti?

Posted June 3, 2008

Now that many of you have received beta keys, and many more are being delivered, we (the Viviti team) are curious about what you intend to use Viviti for. What kind of web site do you want to build? Is it a site for your business, a club, a personal blog? A web site to sell something?

We'd love it if you could take a moment to write a comment to share your ideas of how you intend to use Viviti.

If you've requested a beta key and haven't received it yet, please be patient, we are continually sending them out on a first come first serve basis. You will receive your beta key, please don't worry! Thanks again for choosing to use Viviti.

1 Shawn: June 3, 2008

I use Viviti for maintaining my blog, and maybe one day I'll use it for managing my portfolio of images.

2 Jason Tom: June 3, 2008

I intend to use Viviti to help me publish a web presence of my beatboxing and performing career. I see it as a business hallmark on the web for potential clients to contact me through it, also for a way for my cult following to get a hold of me, and hopefully one day be able to sell merchandise. That'll be a long ways to go. :P I also would like to use it for blogging, and as a club. ;)

11 Audrey: June 8, 2008

For a homebased business

12 sherry: June 8, 2008

For an insurance business. I NEED THE NAME SERVER TO POINT MY DOMAIN NAME.

13 TCA: June 9, 2008

To Sherry-
The nameserver is the domain, if you have one. To do that, go to your domain, set up a cname with www, and yourwebsite.viviti.com, then go back here, and set up a nameserver of your domain. Hope that helped.

16 Kim: June 11, 2008

If I get a beta key, I will be using Viviti to build a family website. I'm not too impressed with Bravenet's regular web builder, so I'm hoping this one is much better!

17 Vivek: June 12, 2008

18 TJ: June 13, 2008

Vivek, I Waited Three Weeks To Get My Beta Key But I Got One. Wait And You Will Get One Too.

19 Wayne: June 14, 2008

I just got my beta key today, and will be using Vivity as a suppliment to my regular domain:http://www.killwallsub.com
for photos, and other free tools that bravenet offers.I'm still learning how to design and build websites so I'm still a beginner in stuff like HTML, etc.etc., and needed something ridiculously easy to use.I had a bravenet website before my new domain and figured Vivity might be even better than the original. After playing around all day with it, so far I'm impressed!

20 Elsie: June 16, 2008

Thank you for my beta key. I will use Vivity to publish "how to" articles on food and crafts and in the future to sell e-books.

I'm interested to start a business blog ...

Couple months ago .. I was testing wordpress coz I'm planning to get serious for blogging, but end up with using Joomla for my new business web .. and setting it up (Joomla) is a quite challenging moment ...

they have a lot of documentations .. it's a time consuming .. as for a newbie like me ... there's a lot of lesson to learn ...just for set it up ...

I hope viviti can be more easilly to set up, so people like me can jump easily and can be focusing on how we build the sites ... and I'm excited to use viviti .. coz I see viviti has the cutting edge of web 2.0 taste and design

Bravo viviti ...

I've always wanted to start and maintain a personal blog. After several attempts and failures, I had practically given up. Then I heard about Viviti, and I wanted to get back into it.

And even if I don't update my page often, I'm still on the forums helping out.
