Viviti is Growing Up to Become a Real Business
Well, it's been a fantastic year of growth for Viviti and we're nearly ready to release Viviti as a full-featured, non-beta product!
Viviti has grown to over 10,000 beta users and more are signing up every day. Over the past 12 months we've collected and applied a ton of feedback, so thank you to everyone who's sent us an email, found a bug, or contributed to the user forum. We couldn't have made Viviti what it is today without your input and support.
How is Viviti becoming a real business?
Viviti will no longer be offering free, unlimited use as it has been until now. Starting soon, every Viviti account holder will be required to be part of one of our subscription plans, each with a varying monthly cost and unique set of features. We will still be offering a free version but it will be ad supported.

What will happen to my account?
If you currently have a Viviti account, we want to thank you for testing Viviti during it's beta cycle by giving you an ad-free plan, free of charge. That's right, you don't need to worry about paying a dime and no ads will appear on your site! We're giving away over 10,000 free accounts so every one of our beta testers can continue to grow along with us through this exciting new phase. For beta testers who want to upgrade to a bigger plan, we will give you the opportunity to upgrade your account at a discount. More details coming soon!
When will this all happen?
The changes can be expected to take place next week, and you won't have to do anything. Your accounts will automatically be upgraded and everything will continue to work as it currently does. Thanks again to everyone who's helped shape Viviti to what it is today, we hope you continue to build with us as time goes on!

Good news for whom? For you guys. The storage is so small, isn't? Here is just one good news: AD-free for beta users. But is it a NEWs?
So which plan do beta testers get? The $5, or the $10? (please say ten)
Sucks...
Really disappointed. I've been a beta tester for a while and was looking forward to your pricing announcement to make the final decision to move several additional sites to your platform (which I think is awesome) and start recommending it to others. Unfortunately this announcement will make me look somewhere else. The storage space is not competitive and the restriction in the number of pages for paying customers is a deal breaker. Hope you come up with more competitive pricing in the future. Good Luck.
The platform is awesome and I think it is generous to offer free accounts to beta testers with upgrade options and I do appreciate it. For beginners your easy to use platform may be worth the price. The pricing VS storage may not be as competitive as some people might like. Overall, I don't really care about storage or page restrictions, I would like to see you using "green certificates" or "green tags" to purchase 100% renewable energy to power your company. That would seal the deal for me and hopefully anyone else in their right mind.
Guys, we as beta testers have been helping Viviti grow up, enhance, get better every day and all we get back is "You gonna have to pay"? Well, good luck to you, I know it's not an easy work to do but thanks, I don't wanna pay for it.
I am a beta tester,I want to know How long can I continue to grow throuth this new phase?forever or one year?
I remember the days when everything on the net was free. I hate that mandatory accountant for startups law. I hate it.
Hard times. ;)
Disappointing, really!
You don't offer any language support (English-only speaking clients are only welcome? ok, if so.), the control over the components is limited, I didn't find anywhere on your site any information on file protection and backup, etc, etc.............What are you selling?
Why should I pay?
There are so many sites out there offering better publishing and hosting plans...
good luck anyway, I really loved Viviti for many reasons but to pay for it, I expect much more, really, don't you?
greetings from France
Well I have only been here a short while in beta, and now I can not even edit my site. But now with you going live I am afraid that I shall be moving on.
The limited space and lack of pubilishing plans are a joke. Thanks for what you have done so far. Sorry to leave you.
I checked your account and it seems to be fine, if you open a support ticket or forum post with some details a support person will be able to help you!
Title: "Viviti is Growing up to Become a Real Business".
ehhh... just because one adds a pricing scale to one's offerings does not make one's entity a business. start calling yourselves a business when you actually generate consistent and steady revenue....
busi⋅ness - a person, partnership, or corporation engaged in commerce, manufacturing, or a service; profit-seeking enterprise or concern.
I'm pretty sure we qualify as a business. Could you please stop flinging random pointless insults at us on our blog? That would be great, thanks!
ehhh don't mind me i'm just a dumb 12 year old kid looking for attention
hey my account got deactivated =(
Shouldn't be deactivated, what's the url? I can take a look and figure out what has happened.
oh well I tried to log in using my email address (which you now have) and all the passwords i tried did not work, and since i only use a finite number of passwords, i assumed that my account was deactivated. i don't know. i remember closing all of my .viviti.com sites though, so maybe that is why. it's not that i don't want to use the service; i just don't want anything up right now. but i would like to keep the account open under this email address.
P.S. D-bag stands for daring-bag, not douche-bag!
